September 18th – Trudeau Foundation 2014 Fellowship Announcement
The Trudeau Foundation will be announcing at a public ceremony on September 18th the three recipients of the 2014 Trudeau Fellowships — a distinguished humanities and scholarship award valued at CND $225 000, paid over three years. We will be covering the ceremony and the select scholars here at Integrating Horizons.
The Trudeau Foundation was established in 2001 in the memory of former Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau. It is a non-partisan charity endowed by the Government of Canada through the Advanced Research in the Humanities and Human Sciences Fund. The Foundation provides doctoral scholarships, fellowships, mentorships and organizes public events that aim at encouraging engagement and reflective thought in the areas of human rights, the ethics of citizenship, diplomacy, and the environment.
A section devoted to the Trudeau Fellowship Award will follow shortly.
